The display windows at the Cavalcade are a fun way to share the collection with the Croswell community. The windows have become a destination for those who enjoy a look back at a time when life, and the things we used, were less complicated.
The small south display window features "Dig Into The Autumn Buffet" with an autumn party theme and buffet table filled with autumn-colored vintage small appliances and entertainmentware!
The first half of the north window "Cook With Color" shows a woodtone Kitchen Aid Superba roll-away dishwasher, a Hamilton Beach roaster in Harvest Gold and lots of seasonal colored housewares.
The second half of the north window showcases an Avocado Green General Electric range, vintage green and gold kitchen flooring and a GE Americana range in Harvest Gold! Also shown is the quilt up for raffle this year by the ladies of the First Presbyterian Church of Croswell.
"Cavalcade Wash Day" - vintage washing supplies including a Maytag wringer washer, Maid-Rite washboard, vintage irons and laundry products.
"You've Got The Juice" - a collection of electric and manual juicers, juice pitchers and glasses.
"Westinghouse Wonders" - an assortment of Westinghouse products including a roaster, fan, toaster, radio, mixer, and range.
"Swingin' In The 70's" - a collection of home decor from the 1970's including a Montgomery Ward Airline stereo, velvet paintings, pole lamp, vinyl chair and chandelier.
"Beat Me To The Punch" - a collection of vintage glass punch bowl sets.
"Just My Type" - an assortment of standard and portable typewriters.

"Santa's Laundry Day" featuring an Iron-Rite Model 95 rotary ironer, vintage Rid-Jid ironing board with vintage irons, and a Maytag wringer washing machine.

"Dressing for Autumn" - a pair of antique dressers to help us dress for the crisp air and leafy breezes of fall in Michigan.
"TV Dinner" - enjoying a simply meal for one in front of the television. A classic American scene.
"Fall Sewing Project" featuring a vintage Domestic sewing machine.
"Fall Listening Room" - enjoying the latest installment of the Cavalcade Radio Hour, heard locally on Saturdays 9-10am on WMIC 660AM and 95.3FM, or from anywhere via the live stream at http://www.sanilacbroadcasting.com/streaming/
"Coffee Weather" - an assortment of vintage percolators.
"Fall Canning Season" - an assortment of vintage canning jars, lids, and supplies to preserve the harvest for the long winter ahead.
Small Window - Backyard Living. Summer time in the back yard - sitting in the shade with a cold drink, listening to the transistor radio, reading a magazine, playing Jarts and lawn games. Time with family and friends.
Large Window - Croswell Fan Club. A collection of electric fans to help keep cool this summer.

The "Evergleam" aluminum tree makes its annual appearance in this year's windows. To the left is an Ironrite rotary ironer pressing Santa's suit for another journey delivering toys.
